Ed, Carol and I went down to the hill country to walk today. We got started walking a little before 10am. I was number 201 out on the trail. Congrats on the good turnout! It was a very enjoyable walk and we got to visit with lots of walkers we know.

Pre-registration is required. Normally we just show up and register. I noticed that will not be the case this year. If you want to do these events you must preregister by Sep 10.

There weren’t any weekend events this weeked (due to Father’s Day) so Brandy, Ed and I walked the Turtle’s YRE in Salado. It wasn’t too hot, we had some cloud cover and a nice breeze. The route has a lot of shade.

Carol and I walked the Tin Star Ranch/Crabapple School event on Saturday. It was overcast to start, but clouds soon broke up and it got hot. It was on country roads with little traffic. Very enjoyable walk.
