Daily from 8:30 am—5:30 pm except Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Course Descriptions:
The downtown Chattanooga route will carry you across the river on the Walnut Street
Bridge, the country’s longest pedestrian-only bridge. The second walk will follow the
Tennessee Rive Park Trail along the banks of the river. Routes are 2+.
Directions to Start/Finish Point:
From I-24, take exit 178 (US-27) to Downtown/Lookout Mt. Go 2.1 mile and take the 4th
Street exit 1C to downtown (TN-58). Turn right at W 4th St. and go 0.1 mile and turn left at
Broad Street to Visitor Center. There are paid parking lots in the area of the Chattanooga
Visitor Center.
